This is the number one concern I hear from first-time renters. The short answer: no.
The Cybertruck AWD has 325 miles of EPA-rated range. In real-world driving around the Chicago suburbs, expect 250–300 miles on a full charge. Here’s what a typical day actually uses:

10 Things to Do with a Cybertruck for a Day
Based on what my guests actually do (and what they tell me afterward):
1. Just Drive It
Seriously. The Cybertruck is an experience in motion. Hit the highway, feel the instant torque, try Autopilot on the expressway, and watch every car around you slow down to stare. Cruise through Palatine, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, or take it downtown.
2. The Surprise Gift
A huge number of my bookings are surprises — a wife renting it for her husband’s birthday, a dad picking up his teen for prom, a friend gifting an unforgettable day. The reaction when they see the truck is always priceless.
3. Content Creation
YouTubers, TikTokers, and Instagram creators rent the Cybertruck specifically for content. The angular design photographs like nothing else. Chicago’s skyline, industrial backdrops, and suburban streets all work as settings.
4. Try Before You Buy
A lot of my guests are seriously considering buying a Cybertruck. Renting for a day lets you live with it — not just sit in one at a showroom. Guest total for a 1-day rental on my listing typically runs $325–$450 depending on the day and your protection plan choice. Weekdays are on the lower end. Peak weekends and holidays push higher.
